GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group (“GlassRatner”), a North American multidisciplinary advisory firm, and Intel2Talent Canada (“I2T”), one of Quebec’s leading executive search and leadership advisory firms, announced today that they are joining forces to build a world-class pan-Canadian leadership advisory platform.

By bringing together two well-established executive search practices, this partnership significantly expands GlassRatner’s presence in Quebec and strengthens its ability to deliver executive search, interim executive placement, leadership assessment, and leadership development services across Canada.

The I2T team joins GlassRatner under the leadership of Brigitte Simard. The recent addition of Jean-Philippe Daoust as a Partner marked the first milestone in GlassRatner’s strategy to expand its presence in the Montreal market. The combination with I2T now confirms and accelerates that strategy. Mr. Daoust leads GlassRatner’s Canadian Private Equity and Manufacturing practices, where he is responsible for strengthening and expanding the firm’s capabilities across Canada and North America.

This transaction represents another significant milestone in the expansion of GlassRatner’s Canadian footprint. GlassRatner is backed by Toronto-based private equity firm TorQuest Partners.

While executive search and board director recruitment remain the cornerstone of this expansion, the combination will also enable GlassRatner to extend its broader advisory capabilities throughout Quebec, including financial advisory, forensic accounting, litigation support, and corporate finance services.

Brigitte Simard founded Intel2Talent Canada in 2018 after more than 18 years of executive search experience, including leadership roles as Managing Partner with international executive search firms and senior executive positions at IBM, RBC Dexia, and Bell Canada. Under her leadership, I2T has become recognized for its relationship-driven approach, combining deep market expertise, an international network, and a proprietary methodology that integrates human talent with augmented intelligence tools.

Ms. Simard is also an active leader within Canada’s business community. She is the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors of Club Mont-Royal and a member of the Réseau des Femmes d’affaires du Québec, the International Women’s Forum, and the Institute of Corporate Directors. She previously served as Chair of the Board of the Cercle canadien de Montréal and holds a degree in Psychology from McGill University.

With more than 25 years of experience in executive search, advisory services, and operational and technology transformation, Jean-Philippe Daoust advises organizations on identifying, assessing, and developing executive talent. He works extensively with private equity-backed companies and high-growth organizations across the manufacturing, transportation, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, energy, and natural resources sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from McGill University and a Master’s degree in Law and Economics from the University of Amsterdam.

A tenor artist who graduated from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal in 1997, Mr. Hervieux has distinguished himself on some of the greatest stages in Canada and the world, from Montreal to Paris, via New York, Seoul, Vancouver, Metz, St-Paul/Minneapolis, Malaga, Taiwan and many others. Well known in Quebec, particularly for his participation in several musical events, Mr. Hervieux also works as a host on CBC’s French radio stations: ICI Première, ICI Musique and ICI Musique Classique.

Winner of several prizes and scholarships, including Opéra de Montréal’s Diana-Soviero Prize, the Charles-Émile-Gadbois Foundation Scholarship, the Gautier-Létourneau Scholarship, as well as the Jacqueline-Desmarais Foundation Scolarship for three consecutive years, Marc Hervieux has recorded more than ten albums, including three gold records and received three Félix.
